The Puerto de Sagunto sports pavilion has been made with the self-supporting multilayer curved roof system from Incoperfil. The roof has combined a precast concrete structure together with the curved metal profile INCO 44.4 Curvado with a span of 6 meters, without the need for intermediate supports.

The new pavilion of the Port of Sagunto has had an investment of 3.9 million euros financed between the Generalitat Valenciana and the Sagunto City Council. This pavilion has been designed for sports such as handball, basketball and futsal on a single central court with a capacity of up to 2,700 spectators.

The roof enclosure has relied on the multilayer self-supporting curved roof system and has been executed with curved profiles from Incoperfil. The solution is made up of the INCO 44.4 Curved Perforated R3-T6 profile in the lower layer to ensure good acoustic comfort, on which the thermo-acoustic insulation is placed.

The upper closing profile of the roof has been the INCO 44.4 Curved Self-Supporting profile, 1.00 mm thick. This profile is structural since, due to its geometry and thickness, it is responsible for transmitting the loads to the structure.

Roof typology

(1) Indicate the length of the span of the arch, which is the greatest horizontal distance between the supports of the curved roofing.

(2) Plan-view dimension representing the full length of the curved roof measured perpendicular to the arch span.

(3) Specify the obstructed area under the canopy, in square meters, as a proportion of the total area of the front or side (transverse or longitudinal) façade, in order to calculate the obstruction factor. If it is a closed construction or there is no obstruction area, indicate 0 m².
