Home Deck Roofing The Deck Roof
Deck roofs are composed of a base support (metal profile), rigid insulation and a waterproofing system. These roofs allow for total waterproofing without the existence of joints and they eliminate thermal bridges.
The deck roof is an ideal solution for flat insdustrial roofs with slopes of up to 5% due to its great adaptability and quick assemply.
The resistant support consists of a corrugated profile that is arranged directly on the structure. The usual position of the roof profile is that which offers the greatest support surface for thermal insulation, generally in the "façade" position.
The profile of the corrugated profile and its thickness is conditioned by the loads considered in the calculation of the roof, the separation of belts and the number os spans on which it rests.
Advantages of the deck roofing
Thermal and acoustic behavior:
Type | U (W/m²K) | m (kg/m²) | Ra (dBA) | Ratr (dBA) |
Light autoprotected | 1/(0,15+Rat) | 15 | 38 | 31 |
Heavy. Gravel | 1/(0,17+Rat) | 99 | 44 | 37 |
Values according to CTE for mineral wool insulation thicknesses of 80 mm thickness. Rat is the thermal resistance of the insulator (m²K/W)
