Different corrugated profiles from Incoperfil have been used for the execution of the enclosures of this unique building, which houses the new stamping line as well as the manufacture of spare parts initially associated with Nissan's 2019-2021 industrial plan in Ávila in Las Hervencias ( Avila).

The Junta de Castilla y León has received an investment of 27.7 million euros through the Institute for Business Competitiveness (ICE) of the Junta de Castilla León itself for the creation of this new stamping and spare parts center in the polygon industrial plant of Las Hervencias in Ávila, which will serve as a logistics and parts distribution center for southern Europe.

The construction of this building of more than 24,000 square meters consists of a space divided into two areas, one for production and stamping, and the other for a logistics warehouse and distribution, from which around one million pieces are expected to be distributed printed per year.

The façade cladding of the building is formed by the multi-layer self-supporting industrial façade system, made up of the INCO 72.1 Tray interior profile fixed directly to the pillars of the enclosure, with a distance between supports of 4.50 m, on which it has been installed a substructure formed by omega-type profiles with a 60 mm edge and an insulation panel 120 mm thick. Outside, the INCO 44.6 Corrugated profile has been installed in HDX55 +Z225 finish in gray Silver Metallic RAL 9006.

The multi-layer self-supporting industrial roof system is made up of the INCO 100.3 Roof interior profile. This self-supporting profile has a significant resistant capacity, which allows it to reach span and high loads up to 6 meters of span.

In this case, the project has roof spans of 4.50 m and a maximum load of 185 kg/m2 mainly due to the high snow load. A substructure made up of 120 mm deep Z profiles has been installed on this self-supporting profile and the 120 mm thick (60+60) rock wool panel insulation has been housed. The external corrugated profile is made up of the INCO 44.6 Corrugated profile in HDX55 +Z225 finish in Silver Metallic RAL 9006 grey. This profile with medium corrugation and symmetrical waves provides an excellent aesthetic finish.

The exterior enclosure profiles have been manufactured with the necessary paint and zinc coatings to ensure the correct behavior of the material against loss of colour, gloss or oxidation. The applied coatings guarantee their performance against C3 outdoor environments, industrial areas subject to moderate pollution, providing a guaranteed durability of up to 20 years.

Roof typology

(1) Indicate the length of the span of the arch, which is the greatest horizontal distance between the supports of the curved roofing.

(2) Plan-view dimension representing the full length of the curved roof measured perpendicular to the arch span.

(3) Specify the obstructed area under the canopy, in square meters, as a proportion of the total area of the front or side (transverse or longitudinal) façade, in order to calculate the obstruction factor. If it is a closed construction or there is no obstruction area, indicate 0 m².
