The University of León has allocated a budget of 500,000 euros for the new padel facilities and the remodelling of the tennis courts, as well as improving the connection between the sports spaces. The three new padel courts have been built on an existing tennis court, with the aim of promoting this sport and meeting its high demand.
The project has been executed with a self-supporting curved roof system using the INCO 155.3 Curved profile. This system gives the project an excellent aesthetic finish and protects the facilities from weather conditions. In this case, the vault has been designed in the longitudinal direction of the courts, reaching a free span of 22 metres.
