Camilo José Cela University (UCJC) has inaugurated a new building on its Villafranca del Castillo campus in Madrid. This building is dedicated to the Faculty of Health Sciences, in collaboration with HM Hospitals, and covers approximately 2,400 square meters distributed across three floors. In this new space, 12 modern laboratories have been set up where students can carry out practical work. Additionally, the building includes a multimedia classroom to reinforce learning.
The building features an avant-garde design with large windows that promote natural light, and its construction incorporates innovative elements such as the composite slab system, which provides resistance, lightness, and structural flexibility. The resulting slab is solved with the INCO 70.4 Composite profile, as it allows for the resolution of this type of slab with a slab depth of 120 mm.
