The INCO 70.4 composite slab has been used in the slabs of the desalination plant in Ténès, Argelia with a special coating HDX-55 microns.

The main objectif of this project is to provide safer water to Ténès region, in Argelia to meet the needs of this part of the country. The plant expects to supply around a million people. The plant’s capacity is 200.000 m3/day in 10 lines.

INCOPERFIL has supplied 2660 m2 of the composite slab system INCO 70.4 to the construction of the sea water desalination plant. This project respects the inverse osmosis, and it has been executed by Befesa Agua, accompanied by the govern society; Argelian Energy Company (AEC) with 80% of banks financy and 20% of Befesa and AEC.

Due of the proximity of the Mediterraean Sea, the composite slab has suited a demanding specifications and standards. The steel protection (galvanazing) was 275 gr/ both faces and polyester protection with HDX-55 microns.
