The wavy INCO 44.6 profile has been used as a cladding profile in the energy rehabilitation of the facades of the Elexalde BHI Secondary Education Institute.

El IES Elexalde BHI consta de dos edificios, el más antiguo y objeto de esta rehabilitación fue construido en 1972. La intervención se centra en adecuar el edificio a l CTE en cuanto a la mejora de la accesibilidad, adecuación a la normativa de incendios y mejora de la eficiencia energética de sus fachadas.

La solución de fachada ventilada, que cuenta con una superficie aproximada de 1.900 m², se resuelve con un sistema de subestructura formado por escuadras y perfiles tubulares horizontales que permiten alojar un panel rígido de lana de roca de doble densidad de 120 mm de espesor. El perfil INCO 44.6 Ondulado se dispone en vertical en color aluminio gris 9007 acabado HDX 55 micras.

Dada la proximidad de la fachada a las zonas de juego, se ha optado por emplear un espesor de 1,00 mm para el perfil INCO 44.6 Ondulado y la disposición de perfilería horizontal intermedia para reforzar estos tramos de fachada frente a eventuales impactos.
