The renovation of the municipal pavilion in Teba, in the province of Malaga, seeks to modernise the local sports facilities and improve their functionality. This project involves a significant investment and will be carried out in phases. The first phase, with a budget of approximately 500,000 euros, includes the construction of a covered space with a metal structure, designed to protect the sports courts and stands from adverse weather conditions. The facilities are planned to have multidisciplinary areas, such as dance halls, gymnastics and changing rooms on the ground floor, and sports courts on the upper floor.
The pavilion’s roof is one of the most prominent elements of the planned renovation. This structural component is designed to solve a key problem: protecting the sports facilities from adverse weather conditions, such as rain and high temperatures, thus improving both the functionality and comfort of users.
The implemented solution uses a modern, light metal structure, based on the simple curved roof system using the INCO 30.5 Curved profile. Since it is an open canopy, it has not been necessary to incorporate thermal insulation, since its main function is to offer protection against rain and direct exposure to the sun during different times of the year.
