In the city of Albergaria-a-Velha, in northern Portugal, a new Continente shopping center has been inaugurated with more than 1,600 m² of sales area. This hypermarket has had the INCO 70.4 profile to solve the roof using the Deck-type solution. The Deck system, whose main application is for flat industrial roofs (slope between 1% and 5%), allows the waterproofing of the roof without the existence of joints and thermal bridges.
The INCO 70.4 profile, a resistant support for the roof, is a product with excellent mechanical characteristics due to its 70 mm edge. This fact makes it possible to optimize the layout of the structure by separating the secondary support profiles up to 4 m spans. for the loads considered. In addition, the INCO 70.4 profile has been proposed with a thickness of 0.70 mm, considerably reducing the cost of the solution.
