The new INCO 100.3 Composite Slab profile has been used in the expansion of the production center of Gourmet S.A.

The company Gourmet S.A., a family business founded in 1975 specializing in food, has had a budget of 3.5 million euros for the expansion of its production center. The new construction, an industrial building located in the Fuente del Jarro industrial estate in Paterna, will be built on two floors, ground floor and first floor, with a total constructed area of close to 5,000 m².

Supported directly on a metal structure, the mixed slab formed by the new INCO 100.3 Composite Slab profile has been arranged. In this project, the composite profile is arranged in 2 and 3 spans with a separation between supports of around 3.00 m without propping and with a use overload of 1,150 kg/m².

This new long-edged composite profile allows a significant separation of supports without the need for propping, in addition to supporting high loads with less concrete consumption.

(1) Indicate the length of the span of the arch, which is the greatest horizontal distance between the supports of the curved roofing.

(2) Plan-view dimension representing the full length of the curved roof measured perpendicular to the arch span.

(3) Specify the obstructed area under the canopy, in square meters, as a proportion of the total area of the front or side (transverse or longitudinal) façade, in order to calculate the obstruction factor. If it is a closed construction or there is no obstruction area, indicate 0 m².
