This project has relied on the multilayer façade system made up of the INCO 157.1 Tray profile inside and the INCO 70.4 Facade profile on the outside. In addition, the INCO 70.4 Composite Slab profile has been used for the construction of the slabs.

Potencia y Control S.L. is a business group specialized in industrial automation, electrical and mechanical engineering. The renovation and expansion of its production plant in Valladolid had to have a large area for offices since most of the workers are engineers, as well as some in charge of assembling the machines.

The project is resolved on the ground floor with a concrete wall, since part of the workshop that receives heavy machinery is located in this area, in this way a better behavior is guaranteed against possible impacts on the enclosure. The first and second floors, whose main use is for offices, have been resolved with a multi-layer façade system with different Incoperfil façade products.

This multilayer system is formed inside by the INCO 157.1 Tray profile that serves as a façade support profile, allowing 6-meter openings to be covered and providing a flat finish on the internal face of the façade. This tray profile with a 157 mm edge allows it to house insulation panels up to 170 mm thick with thermal bridge breakage. On the outside, as a cladding profile, the INCO 70.4 Facade profile has been arranged vertically, offering a design in accordance with the company’s corporate image.

The central walkway, where a large meeting room is located, has been resolved with large windows that in turn have a solar control element formed by the INCO 70.4 Facade perforated profile. The use of perforated profiles allows the diffusion of direct sunlight, allowing good natural lighting inside. The roof of this building has been resolved with the INCO 44.4 Deck roof system in a white Pyrenees finish inside. The slabs have been made with the INCO 70.4 Composite Slab profile in a thickness of 1.00 mm, embedding the edge of the slab in the metal structure and spanning 2.50 m.
