New INCO 70.4 P Colaborante: punched profile for steel structures with connectors welded in the workshop

A solution designed to accommodate shear studs and optimise the installation of composite floors in composite steel–concrete structures.

At Incoperfil, we continue to develop solutions that help optimise the construction of composite steel–concrete structures and improve on-site installation processes. With the new INCO 70.4 P Composite, we are introducing a punched version of the INCO 70.4 Composite profile, designed to accommodate Nelson-type shear studs that have been pre-installed on the steel beams.

The INCO 70.4 P Composite profile features 40 × 60 mm slots that align the composite deck with the position of the connectors, simplifying the installation of composite floor slabs on steel structures. This solution improves coordination between manufacturing, the steel structure and on-site construction, especially on projects where quality control of workshop welding is a priority.

The result is a more industrialised, precise and efficient solution that reduces installation clashes and improves coordination across the composite floor system.
